Hope none of you got trampled (or trampled anyone) this past weekend. I know I'm not the only one here who was nauseated by the news clips that showed how ugly greed can make people during the holidays. It doesn't matter if you're out to get a present for someone else or not- stomping on people, robbing them, or punching them just so you can get that discounted Plasma TV or Xbox for your loved ones doesn't make you relative of the year. It makes you a pile. If you're pulling that crap you should be given some kind of holiday detention, man. No celebrations ever again until you can behave yourself and act like a mench instead of being all meshuga on everybody. Ugh...
Anyway, on to other stuff!
Thanks to everyone who sent well-wishes in regards to my marrying Jonathan Flores this past Halloween, it was very much appreciated! We're very happy, very pleased with how everything went, and very glad all the stress involved with getting married is over and now we can move on to other things. Like, say, unpacking the plethora of boxes stacked up all over the house and patio from our move back in August, or finishing STRANGETOWN which was supposed to be out this month (ahem), and writing the second issue of QUEEN BEE so I can start drawing it and complete it before Spring arrives to kick me in the ass and ask where all its pages are.

The wedding party. And boy, can they party!

It was a 1920s/Halloween style wedding. I'll put up some more pics when I get them, there were some extremely funny moments involving friends... in the meantime, here we are cuttin' some cake.

Just after Jon and I robbed the First Interstate Bank.
Yes, a lot of booty is going to be getting in gear this season- some art will probably be going up for sale on eBay as well, since I have a ton of organizing that needs to be done and lots of stuff needs to go. I'm officially sick of the clutter... stacks of comics and toys and original art that I just don't have space for anymore is getting on my nerves. Call me crazy, I want to be able to move around without tripping over boxes full of Whitewolf illustrations and Buffy flashback pages.
I'll wrap this up with a nice little bow. I hope all of you have a safe season- don't drink too much of that monster egg nog your cousin makes with lighter fluid and drive, don't hurt nobody including yourself, and above all, remember to laugh. Look at it this way, you can do most of your holiday shopping online and avoid the idiots. Take advantage of that! You'll probably live longer if you do, at least.

I just got married myself about 4 months ago. We had Stanley C. Panther (the Florida Panthers hockey team mascot) at ours. Matt ( teh hubby) was the first 7th Man for them so we just had to have him there( or so Matt told me ^_-)
Anyways, Enjoy being newlyweds! I can't wait to see more pictures.
